I ordered the tuna salad sandwich. It is huge, just wish there were a little less onions, but it was fresh and delicious. Very filling. We will definitely return before we leave to try some of their other pies.
Delicious pie place - we ordered the coconut cream and the pineapple macadamia nut pies. Both were absolutely awesome - the pineapple chunks were huge and so sweet. We also had their coffee which is nice and smooth.
Great portions and decent prices. There's a nice eating area, and staff is friendly. Vegan, vegetarian and omnivore options available on the menu. The fresh bread options are really good. Even day old lasted us a week (Not in a plastic bag) and didn't go dry.
If you're going to Maui, don't make the same mistake we did and discover it too late. Make it a priority to go!
We stopped at Leoda's on our way to the airport to leave and it was the best final experience in Maui! We were sad we hadn't discovered it sooner because we would have gone back at least one other time in the week we were there. I had the egg and bacon handheld (ate it in the car) and it was SO yummy! Their food traveled well, but we wish we could have enjoyed the restaurant more.
Delightful cafe. Serves both sweet and savory pies. Sandwiches are top quality and portioned to satisfy. Alcohol also available on premises, bloody Mary is bloody good. On our visit to Maui we made it a point to pick up a tart every time we passed by. I have a weakness for key lime, but the banana cream was also excellent.
The staff were so personable. The owner chatted with us for a few minutes, even though the store was busy. Another staff member gave us a discount because it was our honeymoon! Not sure if she was supposed to, but it made an impression, obviously! So much so, I bought a t-shirt. :)
Everyone loves this place. The food is delicious and healthy. BUT THE PIES. Well - you haven't lived until you try these wonderful fresh pies with fresh thick whipped cream and no preservatives. Try mac nut chocolate pie. Wow. My husband says the chicken pot pie was great too. I loved the nice large portioned spinach salad. It's such a friendly local place. Pies are so good that people try to steal them from your refrigerator if you're not careful.
