The most expensive supermarket yet. But they are surrounded by tourist hotels and condos, so perhaps it is to be expected. Good variety of foods. Unfortunately the $7 We spent on 18 eggs was discovered to be outdated by 10 days until after we got back to our condo.
I went to a cashier instead, who told me to go back to the courtesy desk and try to find someone. I found someone, who told me I could only exchange it for store credit. After explaining what I was told over the phone, she got her manager, Lynne Romero.
Lynne was combative from the start, asking why I had passed the courtesy desk to begin with. When I told her they had two "Closed" signs up, she said most people knew better to still try and find someone there.
Great for running from the beach hotels. Bought food and liquor rather than paying for restaurants all week. Good selection and decent prices. In a small plaza with coffee shops restaurant,shaved ice and salon
I called up Times to ask if I could return an item without a receipt. After a lot of back and forth since the employee didn't seem positive about the policy, the employee told me over the phone that I could return it as long as they had the same item still available in the store. After walking up there from our condo, the courtesy desk had two "Closed" signs on it.
My rental car broke down in their parking lot and literally every employee I spoke to seemed to care less, including the manager. I had shopped here all week and simply needed someone to jump my car. I wandered around the parking lot for 2 HOURS asking for help, including the security guard who told me he was “busy” and that “I wasn’t in an emergency.” Completely defeated and in tears I finally saw someone down the road using some and finally got the car to work. Horrible customer service. I’ve never been treated so poorly in a store in my life. I will never step foot in there again.
I ended up just leaving the item with them considering our plane takes off in a couple of hours. Horrid customer service and a manager in Lynne that puts her employees in a bad spot by not making sure they know their policies and leaving every comment dripping with sarcasm. There was never even an attempt at saying "my bad" for not getting the policy right to begin with.
Good supermarket. Would get a higher rating if the Salvation Army guy would not ruin the shopping experience with his bell.
