Got fish and chips to take away, they were really good. We came back and got the Teri-chicken bites. Those were AMAZING. Great pricing too!
Get the chicken Teri bites. seriously. get them. right now. and bring me back some! This is the only place we revisited on our week in Maui, and we got those again, and the onion strings, on our second trip. Park in the free lot in the street behind ( if you can find a spot). There are a few tables near for eating there, and a few more farther away in that courtyard area. Don't go too far, though,... you will want more teri bites.
Combination taco platter was great. One Mahi fish taco and one Korean BBQ taco. We also got the Korean beef platter, which came with a side of rice and macaroni salad. The sides were on point, and the Korean beef had great flavor but a lot of fat and gristle. Slightly disappointing, but we’d be willing to give it another try.
We enjoyed two Front Street dogs, bacon wrapped beef hot dogs with roasted peppers and caramelized onions - I added cheddar and my wife added jack pepper cheese. I couldn't resist ordering the chicken teriyaki bites. The food was awesome, and for the price it is reasonable. Spent about $25 for the bites, two dogs with add-ons, and a drink.
Good pie. Nice location. Relatively easy to spot from the highway. Depending on how fast you are going you may need to make a U-turn to get there. Well worth it though.
We also had the shaved ice at the stall beside. This was our favourite shaved ice place the last couple times we visited Maui, and I believe they were in a smaller stall across the street in a little area where there are art galleries now. Nevertheless, we were very happy to have found this shaved ice place again, they are the best and have been voted as such. They stay open till 9pm but can close early as we found the previous night they were already closed before 6pm.
Very nice little cafe, just limited seating outdoors on the cement round tables, but we were fortunate to get one.
