Super awesome rock formations, and lots of cool lava. Some places to get right up next to the wave crashes.

It was a sunny day so we had many photo ops. Be careful not to venture to far down the shoreline if you are not experienced with hawaiian waters. The ocean is known to take many lives. Never turn your back on the blue.

Don't be discouraged by the weird way you have to get there. Yes, you really do have to walk the edge of the golf course. No, you won't get in trouble.

This place is NOT called Dragon tooth trail and the hotel surrounding this trail is desecrating the native Hawaiian graves it's built. Native hawaii and are not Americans, do not want to be Americans.

Great place to visit while in Maui. Give it 2.5 hours from parking to walk around, take it in, spot some turtles in the water and get back.

Definitely something you can do on the West side and guess what ... it won't cost you a dime!!!!!!

So we were a little confused on how to actually access this trail and totally missed the dedicated parking lot so we parked near the DT Fleming Park (actually the parking lot adjacent to it that belongs to Burger Shack) and walked across the beautiful Ritz Carlton property and found the trail. If you see a yellow church then you are very near.

Once we found the path, we made the mistake of crossing over the golf course because we didn't see tiny signs located at 'foot' level that said "walking path". So stay on the path and you will pass a cemetery that is to the right (it actually fronts the Ritz-Carlton property ... yikes!).

Great walk - just head down on the grass from the carpark - golf course on your right and the burial ground hedge on your right.
