Great food, plenty to eat and friendly staff. Great Recommendation from our uber driver! Blacked fish sandwich was delicious I️ was able to order how done I️ wanted it. Rest of the party got the stocking stuffer, the Marilyn, the duke and the Luna. Everyone loved what they had. Would definitely recommend it to others!
You have to pay extra for fries, they don’t come with the burgers, but that’s somewhat expected in a touristy area. The fries were good but the veggie burger was super bland. We had a coupon for a free root beer float (a $3.99 value) from an excursion we did. We don’t eat dairy, so we asked if we could just have a plain root beer instead and leave out the ice cream (which would be less expensive for them - $2.99), but they said no and seemed irritated that we asked. Service was quick but unfriendly. Definitely skip this place if you’re vegetarian/vegan.
A nice distraction from this was the table behind us dropping a glass from the second story onto the street where people were walking.
The food was great. Service was very friendly and welcoming. Ambiance was fine. The red hue of the overhead canopy was distracting, but the open air dining was pleasant. Lunch for 5 (including one eating off the kids menu) was $95 before tip. The $10 adult beverage was pretty pricy. Your receipt is a coupon for the nearby Capt. Jack's.
I highly encourage you to eat at a different establishment. I ordered a burger, cooked medium, with bacon/tomato/lettuce/onion, I also asked for the thousand island dressing on the side as I wasn't sure if I would like it. Well, take a look at the picture I posted below to see the aftermath. The burger was severely overcooked, the bun toasted and hard as a rock, the bacon was so fatty and uncooked I had to pull it all off. The thousand island dressing? Yeah that never came. The waitress also took our ketchup before the meal came and said she would "get us a fresh one" as she gave ours to another table-she never did. Well we eventually flagged down a bus boy to grab us some new ketchup and he put his finger over the nozzle and shook it (not sure why) so that was pretty unsanitary.
Fantastic atmosphere overlooking the shops on Front Street. Great “old school” burgers, loved the chili and rice! Friendly staff and quick service. If you’re looking for something quick and relatively cheap compared to the hotel areas I highly recommend it!
I'm giving this place 1 star bc my rum and coke was only $5 and it's not possible to give zero stars.
We also ordered the pineapple coleslaw bc it sounded interesting and was only $2. Well, I should have saved my$2 and used it to pick the dried gum off the dessert menu which was stuck to the condiment holder.
