My husband and I have had numerous acai bowls in many places - on the mainland and on Maui- and we have never had ones as terrible as we experienced here. The presentation was beautiful, but the smoothie/acai part of the bowl was nearly pure ice and completely flavorless. Most places we have been use pure fruit in the smoothie part of their bowls - this place seemed to only use frozen acai juice and ice. We were chewing on ice the whole time we were eating. Also, the apples were overwhelming and were not a good addition to the bowl. Definitely won't be back.
We came here almost everyday of our week vacation! The smoothies are amazing as well as the service :)
