The most friendly, experienced, helpful and best priced moped rental company on the island! They explain all details covering your insurance options, provide a quick training on their mopeds and are very easy to work with when unsure on how long of a rental time you what. Hard to admit it, but I had so much fun riding the road north of Honolua Bay that I was actually whooping and hollering. The moped was a good value, it barely burned any gas, and it functioned perfectly. The guys at 808 Moped were friendly, responsive, and knowledgeable. For the right person, I can't recommend renting a moped from these guys enough.
The staff and owner are super friendly and want to make sure you have a great experience. We may be back this week to rent them again before we leave, but we will definitely be back the next time we visit Maui!
We just dropped off two of the four mopeds that we rented. The prices are great, they explain everything, and the mopeds are well maintained.
As a general tip going to Lahaina on the highway is dangerous in traffic. If you decline to use the helmet for the rest of your ride, at least use it for that part.
This was great! Make sure you make reservations, but otherwise, super easy. Guys were great really nice and the rental process was easy. Plus 50 for 24 hrs is a hell of a deal!
