Parking was a bit of a hassle but we'll worth it.
There are people here but it's nice an spread out so there is plenty of room on the beach and swimming
Beautiful corals and sea turtles.
Snorkeling was a blast
Yes, there is snorkeling along the rock with coral, fish, turtles. But it's cloudy near beach, many people in water and very small area for all the people. After 30 min snorkeling, we walked south to the Whalers area. More space.
Great place for snorkeling. Lots of fish and usually a turtle swimming around in the area. Gets pretty busy, but still plenty of room in the water and sand. Best time to go is first thing in the morning as there are a lot less people and the water may be calmer.
After a recent storm, the sand on the beach area had been washed away leaving little room for sitting on the beach. As a result the beach was very crowded. Still, the cliff jumping off the black rocks was very exhilarating! Snorkeling was top notch as well just north of the jumping rocks.
This place is awesome!
Great beach if somewhat troublesome to get to if you're not staying at the hotel. Get there early (7-8) am for a better chance of finding a parking spot and to avoid the water crowded with snorkelers and people jumping off the rock.
