So went to this store Monday looking for a skirt or pants since I'd left mine at home. Am in Maui for a conference that is held every year in Hawaii. Usually we stay at the Grand Wailea but this year we're at the Hyatt. Anyhoo, bought this skirt at Sand People but then found pants at Macys. Tried returning the skirt on Wednesday but was told that they did not accept returns, only...made exchanges or issued store credit. When I asked how was the customer made aware of this policy, I was shown a small sign at the register and told that it was also printed on the receipt! So after you've purchased, you can read on the receipt that you can't return the item....hmmmmm..... and what is a tourist to do with a credit???
VERY disappointed. This store is my kids favorite when we come into town. Spent a lot of money here. Not just on this trip! Went back to the store today to return a shirt, exchange, or get an in store credit. Tags are still on the shirt BTW... Denied on all three. Lady behind the counter was rude to my wife, and gave no options to fix the problem. I WILL NEVER come back. So unbelievable people can act like this. You don't need this store, as there are many others with the same stuff. My opinion, stay away. There are many other vendors-stores you can give your money to.

Suggestion to Management...TELL your customers prior to ringing up the sale that the items cannot be returned except for store credit or exchanges!
