My husband and I attended the luau last summer! It was amazing! We were in Maui in 2009 for our sons wedding and stayed at the Sheraton but did not attend the luau at the time. We could see it out of our window, but never had time, so we decided to attend last summer while we were in Maui. It was fun, exciting and a great romantic date with my husband of 25 years! We will recommend this luau to all friends and family and we will be back! Thank you for some amazing memories!
Tihati production luau is wonderful! They take you all over the South Pacific with different hulas. The MC Barry is awesome, great voice, great humour, acts like an old friend, The Chefs from Sheraton deliver great luau food. The dancers are great and good audience involvement. Would recommend to anyone! Also the photography team was great. Best group photo on trip and girls at booth great too!
I loved the fire dance show - that was brilliant . Would rate that 5/5 . The rest of the show was ok . My first time to a luau- I wouldn't consider it spectacular . We paid for the only cocktail version which is $39 for adults and $22 for teens . We also get to be seated at the last table . I believe the standard dinner version is around $135 . Since I was vegetarian I figured I wouldn't have much to eat . Plus I don't think any dinner is worth $100 . Without the fire dance I would rate this luau 2/5 or 3/5 . The show was around 1 hour . They asked us to arrive by 6:15 , but started maybe 6:30 or 6:45 ( not sure when exactly ) . They had some of the audience participate in the dance which was nice .
I did not have a single negative experience. The food great. The dancing was impressive. Absolutly beautiful. Next to the water. The luau capitan was on top of things. The host was awesome. Worth the money.
Would be nicer if you have more respectful sitting personal. We waited forty five minutes in line at second place, only to be seated back towards the stage.
