Rented at Honua Kai resort in a two bedroom two bath condo. FIRST I have to say the bed was AMAZING!!! Like sleeping on a cloud. Can't say enough about that. Very clean, staff greeted us at the unit and was very accommodating. Asked for extra hangers and they were in the condo by the time we got back from dinner! The resort itself was amazing. A lot of families here. Beach was great. The whole living room wall was glass doors that open all the way with a wonderful view and ambiance. This resort is down a little from the beachside walkway that has all the shopping and restaurants but I liked that because it seemed more private. Overall felt like royalty and enjoyed it very much.
Although the unit we stayed in was amazing, the rental group left a little to be desired. There were several items broken in the unit when we arrived (ice maker, dryer, screen, and a hornets nest). KBR kept apologizing saying that they would make it up to us but nothing was ever done. They did fix the dryer and provide extra towels and cleaning. They never addressed the hornets nest, which basically meant we could not use the side lanai and we could not open the lanai doors to get a cross breeze in the unit. Otherwise KBR was easy to deal with for the rental agreement and for check in and check out.
