I wish there weren't stars but WTFs. I am writing this review from the canoe right now we are that board. We sadly got the lazy guys. The other boat that left at the same time is looking at whales. They asked us when we left if we wanted to snorkel or look at whales because it's the season. We ALL said "WHALES!!!".... We saw the whales off in the distance. The other boat followed but we just sat there. Every time we saw a whale he would say "thats too far"... apparently not for the other boat. Some how we ended up snorkeling even though we don't want to, while our guide fishes about 40 ft from the shore. We rented the entire boat with 5 people so about 425 dollars (not including tax) so we could sit and talk and do things we could have done for free from shore. Lame!
Maui Paddle Sports is the absolute best activity on Maui. We have gone many times over the years and feel like part of the Ohana. We've seen whales, turtles, sharks, dolphins and a monk seal.
