We booked our stay through Donna Bender of MauiCalls. Normally, we like to find our own vacation rentals and hotels but that is going to change. Donna got us a great deal and really helped me find the perfect condo on the ocean. Also, Donna gave us her Local Girl’s Guide to Maui to take with us to Maui. Even though I had been to Maui dozens of times, we used the guide and found a great restaurant and more importantly the best stores to shop at. Highly recommended.

You cannot go wrong staying here. The price is great, decor is fitting, quiet, is kept very clean and has a spectacular view. We sleep with the sliding glass door open and enjoy the sound of the waves throughout the night. Grocery store is a 7 minute walk away, and is perfect for taking advantage of the BBQ grills by the pool. Sunset is breathtaking! Donna gave us her Local Girl’s Guide to Maui to take with us to Maui. we tried many of the restaurants you will not be disappointed. The new pie and sandwich place is Ono !!

We booked Maui Kai studio Unit 807 through its owner Donna Bender of MauiCalls. Did tons of research before deciding on this unit after reading many many positive reviews. We booked about 4-5 months in advance and Donna was great with communication, quick to respond, and very helpful with travel tips. For an oceanfront, ocean view room in Maui, you can't beat the price. The view from the room balcony was amazing! We saw sea turtles and a couple whales in the distance from the comfort of our balcony. The room was plenty big for the 2 of us. The full kitchen was stocked with all the silverware and pots/pans we needed to prepare meals. Housekeeping was great. Free hotel parking was nice. Friendly front desk staff. The hotel was within walking distance to restaurants but we rented a car, which is recommended. Overall, the trip was great, the room was great, and we would definitely book through Donna again.
I had a point flight to Maui booked for my family, but found booking a condo challenging even thugh I have handled all the bookings for other family trips in the past. Donna Bender answered an email and asked me questions about what I wanted. She recommended a place, Napili Point I had not considered, and then encouraged me to pay just a little more for better room. After traveling around Maui I am convinced she recommended the best place for my family, and I never would have found it without her. Donna's guide to Maui is full of practical and little known advice. For example what time to to visit certain attractions, and out of the way local places to buy snacks and treats.
We have booked with Donna several times and we couldn’t be more happier. Rooms are exactly as pictured. Maui Kai is the best Condo if you want ocean front!
