We rented snorkel, fins, mask and boogie boards at the Maui Kanapali location. The snorkels and masks were top of the line equipment. Staff was friendly and helpful. One can subscribe to their morning email which lets you know the best areas to snorkel. This was very helpful! Definitely going back to their store when we come back!
Such a great deal! 2 for 1 rentals if you reserve online AND they threw in a boogie board if you pre-paid. The guy at the store was incredibly helpful-- he directed us to Kapalua Bay Beach and it was perfect. I'm so glad we chose the company out of all of the options.
I have my own snorkel gear, but got to Maui and realized I'd forgotten to bring my snorkel - d'oh! Went to The Snorkel Store with my mask, where a friendly and professional associate helped me pick out a new snorkel that was as reasonably priced as anything I would have bought at home, and as it turned out, was nicer than the old snorkel I'd left at home. The kind gentleman even put the new snorkel on my mask and spent several minutes explaining how it worked and how t o clean it.
These guys were amazing!! Helpful for novice snorkelers and suggested great locations! Good prices when compared to others. We did the package that includes the two chairs, umbrella, boogie board, and two sets of snorkel gear. Everything was in great shape! We definitely suggest getting the chairs and umbrella here because they are cheaper than the resort. (And it is awful not to have chairs/umbrella in Hawaii!) The snorkel gear was great quality even though we did a more basic package. Never really got water in our mouths because of the splash guard. These came in handy when we did a snorkel tour and our equipment was much nicer than what the tour was handing out!

The staff at the Snorkel Store was very helpful. We walked out of Snorkel Bob's because the prices seemed ridiculously high and the customer service left a lot to be desired. We went straight to the Snorkel Store and the people helped us out. Great customer service and reasonable prices. They gave us a map with the places to go for snorkeling. Couldn't have asked for anything better. The gear we used was great and never had a problem with it for our week long rental. Also rented a beach chair, a boogie board and a floatie to help my spouse who isn't a confident swimmer. If we come back to Maui, we will be going here to rent snorkel gear.
