You'll have a better time on the trip if you practice a bit first diving 10-20+ feet down while pinching your nose and clearing your ears on the way down. This is the key skill that enables you to get close to the fish. If you're stuffy, sudafed and/or afrin can help.

Jeremy rents you a wetsuit, provides you with the appropriate weighting, excellent quality equipment etc, so you will be comfortable and well equipped. No excuses! :)
Cant beat a local shop!
I booked a spearfishing trip for three back in march for November 8th with top shot. They waited tell 11/04/16 to cancel because their instructor had to vote on the 11/8/16 which is when we we're going. Had a day on Maui with nothing to do. Very disappointed would not recommend this company.... suggestion maybe vote after the trip that is done around 1:30pm

Jeremy was a patient, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable guide. He spent lots of time giving background and tips on breath-holding and "hunting" techniques before we entered the water. Diving itself was splendid -- and getting to take some pot-shots at fish made it all the more fun.
