This was an amazing experience! I took my kids, ages 12 and 15 and all three of us went up together. We did the 1200 feet option, which had spectacular views. Captain Bob and crew were great! One of my kids has fears of water and heights and was able to do it without any issues. We were up in the air about 15 minutes, which was perfect . They did the free-fall which allows you to get the feel of actually parachuting. We also did the "dip" at the end, which I highly recommend. I would definitely do this again and highly recommend UFO Parasail.
My mom and I went parasailing for the time with UFO and had the best time ever! The captain and assistant were super friendly and fun. Parasailing was one of the most serene, peaceful, and amazing things ever. It was such a fun way to see the island and ocean from above. While we were up the first whale siting of the season happened so it was cool. Overall, this was one of the highlights for my mom and I!
Parking is best at Whaler's Village and you can get free 3 hour validation with a $10 purchase at most stores. There is free parking up the road a bit, however there were no spots when I arrived at 10 am and it is very limited.
Such a fun time! I will say though if you are an adrenaline seeker, you will not get the rush you may be expecting. It was more of a relaxing enjoy the scenery type of activity. The view was amazing though & it was a such a nice day out. The guys on the boat were really friendly, made for a great day. Definitely take advantage of that kamaaina & military discount. :)
We had a fabulous first experience parasailing with Jose and Captain Dan! It was so beautiful and quiet, flying over the beautiful blue ocean, enjoying the view. They even took us to watch whales and spinner dolphins nearby. We bought the photo chip to remember the day!
