The service was great (thanks, Gerry) and the food was good. Because the restaurant is fairly new, the kitchen staff isn't in sync yet. My husband ordered a cheeseburger, medium rare. He was served a cheeseburger, mostly well done, medium well for a couple of bites, and medium rare for the last two bites. My fish and chips were good. The jalapeno mashed potatoes were delicious! The strawberry (creme) pie was rich and so good. The avocado and cucumber salad was good, but a little too much onion for my taste.
Amazing food: really high quality preparation and incredibly tasty. Service was attentive but not overbearing and very friendly. Prices are a touch on the high end but the quality is worth it. Happy hour deals looks pretty good so I'll be back for those.
I only had beer and appetizer, but both were great. The wait staff were very helpful about beers. When the one sour I ordered was sold out, the waiter pulled three different sour samples for me!
The service ruined pretty decent HANDMADE goods. This one waiter, who didn't introduce herself, talked our ears off about sustainability and how all goods were from hawaii and handmade, even the tables. Would go back without her serving me. I had a good steak though and would recommend
Nice atmosphere with an ocean view and really good food at a reasonable price. The live entertainment and table service was excellent. The food was all extremely fresh and well prepared. The breads and buns are baked in house. We started with the corn chowder and really enjoyed it. We had the Bahn Mi Burger paired with the garlic truffle oil fries. The burger was a little more done than we had requested but both were delicious. We also tasted the corn bread and it was excellent. They have a mid-day happy hour before dinner with 1/2 price appetizers. All in all it was a lovely place for lunch or dinner.
