Excellent service and food. I had the lobster Risotto. Worth every bite.
Really felt like the concierge was pushing a little recommending Pulehu. We went anyway just out of convenience. Let me say this is worth going to even if you are not staying at the Westin. Best fish we had on the island. Excellent lasagna and top notch calamari.
My husband and I went here for dinner last night. He had the sunset dinner (excellent price- fish risotto) and I had the lasagna (huge slice). The food was excellent with large servings. Our server, Madeline, was also wonderful. We couldn't have been happier with the quality of food and service. We typically avoid hotel restaurants, but this is one we would recommend and return to. Oh, there is also a nice wine selection.
This resort restaurant was a delightful surprise. As a person of Italian heritage who cooks a lot of Italian food, I don't usually go to Italian restaurants unless I know the owner or chef. I am so glad I took a chance on Pulehu! Everything was perfect on our visit. Service was excellent from the moment we were greeted by the hostess through the entire dinner. And the food? The food was delicious. The risotto was true risotto, with a depth of flavor and creaminess that comes from proper cooking. The risotto-crusted monchong was out of this world - tender, moist, flaky, and a lovely contrasting crispy risotto crust. For dessert, the budino was orgasmic, and I am not exaggerating. Light, creamy, and incredibly flavorful, worth every calorie. This was one of our best meals on Maui.

Wonderful service. I ordered pizza, super peppery, soggy tomatoes. Everyone else enjoyed their meal. Lamb and fish.
