This place is GREAT! Use to be Moose McGillicuddy's but was recently reopened as the Dirty Monkey. Friends and I went there to watch Sunday football and had an awesome experience. The service, food, drinks and atmosphere were superb!!! The owner Matt was attentive to the customers to ensure everyone was having a positive experience. I highly recommend this place! You won't be disappointed. Thanks Matt for a fun time!
Fun open bar/restaurant locals know to go. Great place to watch football and people watch! Drinks are great and good prices.
Plenty of good beers, surprisingly so to me, a bit of a beer nerd. Prices were reasonable considering the location (Downtown Lahaina, and across the ocean from most of the breweries). Service was a bit spotty, especially when it got busy. Lots of hard alcohol selections too, especially Japanese whiskey I think, but that's not my thing. Lively spot with dancing and music right in town.
One of the best places to hangout on Maui. Great food. Great staff. Lots of great entertainment. Everything from live bands to Deep House (depends on the night).
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, The DIrty Monkey. It's a joke to see how anyone can give this place any rating below a 4. To give any venue a 1 or 2 rating because of service or other ticky tacky stuff is just wrong. You rate a place based on your overall experience and if something was not right you need to ask a manager at that time which I did on my visit. Management was very responsive when I spoke with them and exceeded my expectations. Overall The Dirty Monkey is a great update from the past establishment and you can tell the owners spent time and money to make it current. The decor is second to non, atmosphere is lively, drinks on point and food to delight any diet. I would be a regular if I lived there and for those who have not been it's a must and if something is not perfect talk with a manager before you give a bad review. The hospitality business is demanding and one bad review that is not justified is unfair!
