Awesome place to visit. I was also told the coral goes forever in one direction but only sand in the other. I was also told there are pretty fish to see and there's also a walking path. It seems the locals call it Airport Beach but it's actual name is Kahekili Beach Park. I saw a couple scuba divers there as well and there's free parking.
There is a shallow reef that begins about 100 feet out and a deeper (25-40') reef for divers to enjoy.
Great experience! Nothing like it. Worth checking out.
Large free parking lot at an excellent beach for tanning, swimming and snorkeling. There are restrooms with a changing room, picnic tables, and shower poles to hose off the sand. Place is well maintained.
Good snorkeling when water visibility is up.
