Value for money here is VERY good, ignore the other reviewers. Other places easily charge 16+ for their burger dishes and this one was just 11$.. Portion size is also fine unless you're an obese eater. We will be back to try the rest of the menu.
Dinner for 2 of us, water for beverages, with tip was $50. That's not what Aloha Mixed Plate was all about.
The menu is much smaller.
Right on the ocean with beautiful views. Good food for an average island price. All of this has no redeeming value when compared to the dismal portion sizes. If you are any kind of person who eats more than a small child you can find better options.

This is one of those places that has been a must visit every year we come back here. It was always consistent, low priced, great selection and great value. They shut down in September to refurbish and just opened again 6 days ago. The place is beautiful, nicely redone. But...
The prices are much higher (loco moco went to $16.50 from $9.50)
Service was very slow (they were understaffed; could have been due to having just re-opened)
Other menu items look interesting and I would give it a second chance. I had the burger and it was just ok.. I would have preferred fries instead of the dull chips and the dish would have been elevated if they grilled the onions for the burger instead of being raw.
we were here 2 years ago and it was great. we came here again 3 days after they reopened after the remodel. the place looks amazing. however we will not be returning. the menu is different, the portions are much smaller, the drinks are smaller, the prices are higher and they are a straw free establishment.
My wife had the Ali plate and I thought it was terrible looking and tasted pretty terrible too. This was the only big negative. Looks like I'm not a fan of Hawaiian food I guess...
Absolutely the best place I've eaten in Maui. The food was always fresh, hot, and delicious. Portion sizes never left me hungry. Wait staff were always very courteous very friendly and professional. Prices were the best on the island. I will be back anytime I'm in Maui. Don't miss out on the pancakes. Bigger than your head. And they will accommodate adjusting your meal 2 suit you. I am so happy I found this place it was recommended by a friend. It made all the difference in my experience, almost 8 every meal right here at aloha.
