We stumbled across this place while looking for another and what a gem. Great service, good food, reasonable prices. We split a rack of baby back ribs, which comes with 2 sides and still brought home left over ribs! ($29)So tender they fell off the bone and both spicy and mild sauces were very good. The Sweet potato fries were delish! Only thing I didn't like was, I thought the chairs were not that comfortable. But the food definitely outweighed the chair by a long shot. Our server was bringing us refills on soft drinks without even having to ask. Great service. We will Definitely return on our next visit to Maui.
Wife and I stopped by to get some fish tacos and I wanted to try the brisket also.
Absolutely wonderful! Both my hubby and I think it is the BEST tasting BBQ we've ever had. The classic cheeseburger was also amazing, dare I say better than Cool Cats, big but excellent flavor. Both our waitress and the manager were very attentive. We would highly recommend Beach Bums!

If I could rate this 0 stars, I would!!! I am not one to write reviews, but I had to say something! This was the WORST dining experience I have ever had! The waitress forgot what my husband ordered, not once, but than came back and still didn’t get it right!!! The ribs were HORRIBLE! I ate 1 out of the rack and couldn’t stomach anymore. They seemed like they weren’t even cooked, just warmed up and smothered in bbq sauce! My husbands brisket looked like dog food, and wasn’t even cooked! The Mac and cheese was what u would expect if u left it in a bowl for a night and then microwaved it. I still feel sick to my stomach just thinking of it. We barely ate any of our meals, and we aren’t ones to complain, but I really think we should have. With so much good food in Maui, this place was the biggest waste of money.

Todd was very personable, professional and courteous.
My brisket was incredible and very reasonably priced. Service was good. The restaurant was clean. The only downside is the location, it isn't great or touristy. Overall this place is a great spot for BBQ.
In the course of conversations, we got some excellent recommendations on areas we had passed but were unsure of as well as got a heads up with the local newspaper's listing of restaurants open and serving on Thxgiving.
The fish tacos were great and the brisket plate was on point along with the mac & cheese.
