Stayed in a one bedroom two bath condo for 2 weeks. The unit was nicely updated with granite and tile, Grohe faucets, subzero fridge, and GE appliances, the kitchen was well equipped. Common areas were very clean and well kept.
The Whaler in both towers is in the middle of renovating all hallways with new carpeting and doors. Our floor just completed last week. Carpeting and walls are nice. New metal doors with false wood grain is rather utilitarian looking but includes a new electronic lock to use with wireless key cards. We understand from our wonderful condo owner that the old doors were real wood with lots of personality. Probably just needed some paint.
So far, so good. Been here 3 days and have more than a week to go. The staff has been outstanding from check-in with all our luggage and groceries to the concierge at the activities stand by the beach. Michael who is the manager has been outstanding. We booked a helicopter tour through him and his staff booked a couple of dinner reservations. The property is beautiful with well manicured grass and lovely tropical plantings and trees. The afternoon lemon water and iced tea is delicious or coffee if you prefer.
We have stayed here 4 times. Very friendly staff and a top notch beach front. Great for kids. Peddle. Boarding and swimming
Awesome view. Stayed on the 10th floor in a studio. Love the kitchen -- esp the pineapples in the frig as a welcome. :-) love that this is right on the beach and close to the black rock for easy snorkeling. Pool and hot tub are nice. Rented a cabana for a day for $65. All very good experience. This is my second time staying here and will very likely come back again.
The pool has markings from 4' to 6' depth, but the shallow end was probably closer to 5' deep.
No restaurants or shops on the premises, but the building is located adjacent to Whalers Village which has great restaurants and stores.
Beautiful pool and a well outfitted grill station at each tower. All in all, beautiful property, helpful staff and incredible beach location.
Beautiful park-like setting with coy pond overlooking the ocean on one of the best beaches in the world. Absolutely loved our stay. Everyone was so nice and accommodating. The only thing that bothered me was the photo shoot. We did actually receive the free 8×10 but if you wanted to order more, it was $450 to start. We missed out on a lot of good photos. Just keep it in mind before scheduling the shoot. Highly recommend this complex.
