It's okay, but dated. Our first room was just a standard room. Looking over a parking lot, not fun. That suit was missing knobs in the shower and one of the kitchen knives fell out of it's handle almost onto my foot. The resort has pretty much no beach. The little sand there is, is beside the storm run off so it's very dark water from silt, cold too. The hotel restaurant is also not great. We ordered natchos for $14. Barely enough for one person and the cheese was not even real cheese. Some chemical liquid that just made the chips soggy.
Really enjoyed my stay. The staff was very helpful and friendly throughout the visit. The two pools are nice and clean, and one has a waterfall. The rooms are large and have full kitchens, and have balconies to sit and watch the sunset. The room decor is slightly dated, but all in great condition. The hotel restaurant has a nice happy hour for drinks to have poolside. The location is convenient to a supermarket, ABC Store, and a handful of good restaurants close by, plus better beaches than what is accessible right from the hotel. I would definitely consider staying here again.
We stayed at the Austin Kaanapali Beach Resort for our 30th wedding anniversary. The service was great from the front desk to the parking attendant. The gardens are beautiful! There are some nice little hidden spots to sit and enjoy the view. We had dinner at the restaurant one evening. The service and food were great! Our room was nice. We had a living room with balcony and a full kitchen. The bedroom had a very comfy king sized bed. There was even a stacked washer and dryer in the room. The only thing missing was a good beach for swimming and sunning. However,, there were two pools and two hydro spas and plenty of pool chairs.
Nice pool. Excellent service. Rooms are decent. Pullout mattress on couch wasn't comfortable. Only one packet of coffee for a full week's stay. No fan in the bathroom. No broom to clean up the sand. Small things in the scheme of things!
Relaxing. Room 205 has a lovely ocean and have been beautifully remodeled. Wish I could LIVE here. Prefer this place over pricey resorts we've stayed at nearby. It's very easy to get in and out of your room to your car. If you've been here, you realize this benefit. I think the food and drinks are wonderful, some are their own creations and surprisingly reasonable prices. Can get an even better pic from our balcony, maybe I'll add another pic later.
