My wife and I went there for their speech on their vacation ownership (timeshare). It was supposed to be two hours. After 2 hours and fifteen minutes we told them we had to go. We had reservations at a restaurant. They would let us leave. At one point my pregnant wife said she would for go a bathroom break if we could just leave sooner. The sales rep said she should "use a cup" because he did not want her to release in the showing unit. It was over three hours before we left. I will never do business with Kaanapali Beach Club or Diamond Properties. All they sell are lies.

It was amazing! From comfy beds to relaxing beaches and spas' this was one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed at!

I went to a vacation ownership presentation. We were told by our concierge that it would be 2 hours long. We went to the presentation knowing we had reservations for dinner at 4 pm. When the meeting was running late over 3 p.m. we told our presentation leader Rick that we had a reservation to a restaurant for dinner and he says it looks like you're going to miss it. We were on edge at this point and then he said he had to show us the Villa really quick in order for us to receive the discount we got on the activities that we were doing in Hawaii. Work asked me if I needed to use the restroom before we saw the Villa because I am 5 months pregnant I told him no because we needed to go and we needed to see The Villa quickly because we were already late for a reservation. He then asked me if I had a cup because he didn't want me relieving myself in his Villa. The presentation ended up being 3 hours and 15 minutes instead of 2 hours. It was a very uncomfortable situation no one there seem to care it was positively awful. Please do not do business with Kaanapali Beach Club.

Clean, roomy suite! Nice sized pool. Parking ramp (rare in Maui). Slow shower drain (typical hotel/resort), and an out of order elavator that I hear has been that way for several years. 1st visit 10 years ago. If we get back to Maui we'll stay here again!

Incredibly rude staff, especially the activities coordinator. This older woman made my son cry and has caused our family to decide not to return. I will tell you...the resort itself is beautiful. The delux ocean view room has magnificent sites, but the room is outdated and had an odor. Even so, this hotel has sentimental value for us and we stay when we visit Maui. We travel 5-8 times per year and are very choosy where we spend our money. We have one of the highest travel positions with Hilton and stay there now for nearly free, yet we spend cash here because we have loved this hotel so much. After this experience, however, we will not be back barring a personal letter or phone call of apology from the hotel and a special experience for my child who politely asked the activities staff a question and was ignored and snapped at, then brought to tears through her next two actions..I was there with him. Horrible woman! I called the hotel manager who did not answer, left a message, and was not called back. My husband said he also had not one, but several poor experiences with the staff as well. Diamond resorts, a lesson in business from one business owner to another: regardless of your amenities, which are few compared to where we stay the bulk of our time in Hawai’i, and other areas of the world, if you treat your costumers with anything less than excellent, and do not make amends in person when you have the chance to do so, you will lose their business. And you know, as well as we do, your highest paying customers and/or your loyal, frequent customers, are those who will command respect and appreciation from your staff for spending their time, money, and precious memories with you. We do wish to return to your hotel, but that will be entirely based on the response we receive to this post and to the formal business letter I am sending upon our return home.
