Clean. Great room and view. Hard to beat and a great location
We went to the Kaanapali grille & Tap Room we have a black bean burger and a medium rare colby jack cheese bottom line was that the flavors were there and it had enough balance to satisfied the pallet
Not even sure where to begin with this property. We are platinum elite Marriott members. We stay at Marriott properties of all types all over the world and I've never stayed at one where I was treated like such a peasant as this one. Apparently at a vacation club (where timeshares are shoved down your throat left and right, people constantly trying to sell things around the pool etc.) You have ZERO status as an elite Marriott member. This was our 3rd Marriott property we stayed in during our vacation on the Hawaiian islands and by far the worst. Our first in HNL we were gifted with so many extra amenities and goodies upon arrival as well as such a nice facility to use. Our 2nd place was even nicer with a welcome lei and arrival drinks as well as again discount cards and many amenities on the property. Fast forward to Marriott Vacation Club...there were Lei's behind the counter however I guess we weren't good enough for those. We were instructed of all the RULES which there are so many I felt like I was either in kindergarten or prison. You could only have 2 pool towels and had give them a towel card in exchange. You had to have a wrist band to be in the pool area or they would reprimand you. Check in was late at 4pm check our strictly 10am with no late check out even for Marriott reward members. While sitting by the pool we were told not to move the chairs because we were too close to the pool and might fall in...im sorry I'm an adult not 5 but thanks. The rooms were extremely old and outdated. The parking garage was terrible the spots couldn't fit the smallest of cars. Everyone was right on top of each other and if you forgot to display your parking tag (even tho you had to have a key card to get into the deck so clearly you were allowed to park there) you got a parking citation and they would tow your car eventually. We will never stay in a property like this again. We constantly felt like we were being watched to see if we were going to do something wrong. As status members with Marriott I expect more even with a vacation property. We are loyal to your brand for a reason.
Good service. Amazing location (being able to jump from pool to beach and back is great fun for the kids) and amenities on the ground. 4 stars because the rooms feel a little dated and parking is a mess.
This place is wonderful! Everything you could ever want. Almost wish that I had the grandkids with me. It would be a fun place to bring them.
