A couple of weeks ago, my husband and I missed our return plane home and unexpectedly got stuck in Maui for the evening. Luckily, we were able to pop into Kinkos Kahului and found Maui Mandalay by searching for places that had availability for the evening. This gave us and the opportunity to stay at this beautiful villa, at a decent last minute rate no less.
Everything about Maui Mandalay was thoughtful and sustainably designed - from the organic flowers in the backyard, to the Balinese style natural wood furniture, and fantastic 100% Egyptian cotton designer bedding. Plus, it seemed the owners really made a conscious effort to incorporate energy and water-saving features and measures in the villa too. What a find!
Lei greeting at the airport, fresh fruits on the coffee table and refreshing treats in the fridge. Yes, we have arrived in Maui and your generosity was a true welcome as Lindsay and I begin our lives together. Thank you for all the honest advice and helpful tips about getting married in Hawaii. We will treasure our stay forever.
We were completely impressed and will definitely stay here next time we go to Maui. If we knew of this place beforehand, we would have stayed here instead of where we stayed; in the middle of nowhere in Napili, and shabby to boot. Too bad our stay was just for one night, but this definitely made our vacation all the more special.
