I stayed here for a week with my family while friends stayed in neighboring units and it was ideal. Our unit had a bedroom and a pull-down wall bed in the living room which comfortably and affordably housed me, my wife, daughter and mother-in-law. There was a full kitchen and a great balcony overlooking the pool.
The pool got a lot of action all day and was a great place to meet the other guests, especially at night in the hot tub. There are two restaurants on the property, one is the popular breakfast spot The Gazebo which is also an amazing spot to watch the sunset over the ocean. From there, it's a tiny walk to the beach which was a great spot to frolic in the waves.
We ate breakfast at The Gazebo. This restaurant is fantastic! The wait can often be very long, an hour plus, but the experience is worth it. The food is typical for a Maui breakfast joint. The service is good. There are little birds everywhere and the place is very charming!
Spoke with Dorota at front desk and she was an absolute delight giving a wonderful introduction to Maui and suggestions of all sorts! The room is clean and spacious (2nd floor has very high ceiling) and the grounds are lovely, minus the building work going on now but this is almost finished we were told. A great place to stay and convenient access to nearby shops and beach!
Chatting with the other guests, it seems like this is a place that you fall in love with and keep coming back to. It's not as upscale as the surrounding resorts, which is a plus for the wallet. Overall, a pretty safe bet for a great Maui vacation!
Had a wonderful stay. Loved going to sleep hearing the waves crash onto the shores. And we saw whales from the gazebo
Other than the construction going on next door....our stay was excellent! The staff did everything they could to accommodate us for the noise & that was truly appreciated. Beautiful property with good restaurants and awesome scenery! Would definitely stay here again.
There was always parking available right by my unit, and there are a number of classy restaurants nearby as well as a plaza just around the corner that contains your grocery store, coffee shop, and a really nice selection of fast service restaurants.
