Great, great place! We're really glad we stumbled upon this gem of Lahaina. Friendly and accommodating. We can't wait to come back!
We loved the quietness of the neighborhood. 2 minute walk to the beach to see sunsets each night and just a short walk to the pier and all the shops and restaurants in Lahaina. We woke up to wonderful bird sounds that we certainly would not have heard staying in a high-rise resort.
In our room there is a one cup coffee maker and two mini fridges, one platter, two mugs, two knives, two forks, one spoon, two wine glasses two bowls. Not permitted to cook in the house. BBQ downstairs by pool available but burner on BBQ broken. Pots available downstairs by pool but nowhere to use them. Microwave in a different part of the house is available, but no microwave cookware. So not really a kitchen. Bedroom and bathroom really lovely, but we wanted a kitchen. Folding tv tray available for cards or Scrabble or cards. Nice king bed. Ceiling fan in room kept us cool. Ice cubes or crushed available from owner's kitchen take mug and fill it up.
Nice place to stay at, and only about 2 minutes to walk from the beach! The host, Cherry was lovely and even got us a good connection for our next stay!
This B&B was ideally located on the South side of Lahaina giving easy access to the main road without battling the traffic though the city. We were about 35 minutes from the airport and 20-25 minutes to Kapalua. This location provided easy access to all the places we went for hiking and site seeing. We would definitely recommend the Old Lahaina house and will stay there again if we are ever blessed to get back to Maui.
We only stayed here for our last night of out trip to Maui, but we have a great experience! The hostess is very friendly and welcoming and her villa was great for the occasion. The location is also very good to have a good time while in Maui. It's close to the Lahaina center with all the shops etc. and it's also very close to the beach (3 minutes walking). Would stay again next time. If you want to avoid the resorts this is perfect choice.
My wife and I just completed a wonderful vacation in Maui and stayed at the Old Lahaina House. Sherry our hostess was very welcoming. We stayed in the Riveria room, which was spacious and clean and had its own private lanai overlooking the pool. The pool was a little cool in the Winter, but my wife enjoyed it every day anyway. Overall if you are not into loud resorts, these accommodations are perfect.
