The condos are advertised fairly accurately. It is ocean front property but the ocean is not seeing friendly. It's a turtle Beach. The building is very old and needs maintenance. The property manager is warm and friendly. Laundry is not inside the condo. It is coin operated only. All in all, this is a nice budget place.
It's an adorable condo with a nice pool and great rocky ocean front. The view from the balconies is fantastic. It's a little out of the loop for me as far as convenience but it's just a 5 minute drive to do stuff. Keep in mind they do not have air so we did not stay her much during the day, but fans usually keep you cool enough during the night.
This is our second time staying here and I'm sure it will not be our last. Amazing views and a peaceful atmosphere. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves it's easy to believe this is paradise. The staff are friendly and helpful. The facilities are clean. The small beach is usually quiet and just steps away from the units. Although it seems to have acquired a lot more rocks in the last couple of years, perhaps from a storm. Only thing to keep in mind is a lack of AC. But it's a small price to pay in my opinion.
This is my 3rd time staying here in 10 years and it has turned into an old-folks home. I love the location but it and management are not kid-friendly. Time to find a new location in Maui.
I accompanied my daughter to Maui for my first visit there. Totally enjoyed our oceanfront condo.
