Want to have a place make a total mess of your vacation? We booked a 7 night trip with their Explorer time share program and added another week with the hotel. We were concerned when booking the trip about staying in the same room. They assured us it would not be an issue. Now that we are here it's a huge issue as we are told we have to switch rooms three times in 14 days. Each time we have to switch rooms we have to check out by 10:00 am and cannot check into the next room until 4:00 pm. So we cannot prepare our mid-day meals or change our clothing for the six hours we are without a room. THIS IS NOT RIGHT! We talked to management without much consideration for our trouble. They gave us a $100.00 room credit. I find that to be far less than reasonable.
Had a very pleasant stay with wife and infant daughter in a studio suite. The staff had fitted the room in advance with crib and diaper genie and a staff member gave us a thorough review of the room. The air conditioning vent blew directly onto the bed and seemingly had one setting (totally possible that I wasn't patient or competent with the thermostat) but better that than the alternative - we just bundled up or used the ceiling fan. If beaching is your thing, the resort is perfectly placed on a long span of beach and equipped with beach chairs, towels, snorkeling gear and more. They wrap up the chair checkout a bit early for our taste, i.e. well before sunset but again we were able to make use of towels to sit on the beach and enjoy the perfect view of setting sun. I must admit, resorts aren't my style, but I did enjoy our brief and comfortable stay.
This place is very high class. Super clean, fancy, and right on the beach. The rooms are beautiful and well laid out. The beach front is great and the pool are is huge. Me and my wife toured this place while attending a time share presentation. I would recommend it to everyone, saved us a lot of money and was actually pretty entertaining.
This trip included my husband and me- it was perfect for us 30-somethings without children. The room was clean, no messes or dirt. I'm surprised the hotel only has 3.5 stars on yelp. I think it deserves more credit. We did not use the spa, but did enjoy the hot tub and pools. I would definitely return!
Amazing place! Real nice rooms, beautiful grounds and pools. And then there's the beach. Soft sand, and fun to play in the waves. Our room was so quiet at night too. This place has more of a mature vibe, not a bunch of drunk college kids.
I thought this hotel was beautiful. We definitely enjoyed the kitchen and ability to do laundry. The staff was always friendly. The concierge helped us to schedule a luau when ours was cancelled due to weather (and she booked a reservation at the restaurant on site). The restaurant had fantastic food, btw.
