The entire staff are very accommodating. From the Bellhops to the poolside servers they are wonderful people. Room designs are well thought out. Our only complaint would be the smell of methane gas from the sewer covers down below our fourth floor condo. Several nights we couldn't sit on the balcony or have our windows open to sleep. In the future we will make certain of our location.
Beautiful new resort with fantastic rooms (full kitchen, dining area, balcony, multiple bedrooms and bathrooms, etc). Service was great and very friendly. Got upgraded to a 2BR suite which was very much appreciated by our family. Pool areas were fun and beautiful... Kid friendly too. Only downsides were constant beeping if the shuttle backing up (we were above the lobby/valet area) and the time share sales that were going on absolutely everywhere (nobody hassled us but it's a different environment with all the tours going on). We would definitely stay here again.
This hotel is excellent! The rooms are very nice and huge compare to other 4 and 5 star hotels on the island. Very good location and awesome beach! I would recommend over Ritz and Wailea beach resort Marriott. Will stay here again.
Brand new property on Maui, part of the SPG group. Very well thought out as well as laid out. Especially the way the pools and hot tubs are set up. The kids can play and go crazy, while the parents can still relax and keep an eye on everybody from the hot tubs or from their loungers and pools. Lots of tile, lots of marble, area rugs instead of carpeting, everything brand new and sparkling. A first-class Resort / Villa with pretty much everything you can think of as well as a friendly and attentive staff who are eager to ask you if you're having a good time and/or need anything at all.
We loved our visit to Nanea. The staff was friendly and everything was as close to perfect as one could hope. We are SPG status holders but not timeshare owners, but aside from the concierge who was pushing us to attend a preview, everyone else was relaxed and let us be. The setup was amazing, the views even better (we had a two bedroom Villa that overlooked the park area, so we could see both mountain and ocean views). This is where our family will be staying during our next few visits to Maui (& likely beyond!).
