This is a great place to go during sunset. If you're not looking to spend a ton of money on dinner, they also have a very large outdoor patio/bar area with fire pits etc. that's open seating and overlooks the water.
Great dessert (get the chocolate purse, you will not regret it). It gets very busy here because of its location and obviously quality of the food. A nicer place so dress a bit more formal so for Maui that's a good shirt and nice pair of shorts. Given the price, I would recommend hitting up the happy hour around 3-4 and enjoying that and going somewhere else for dinner (come back for dessert though). If you aren't worried about the expense, just enjoy, make a reservation about 30-40 minutes before sunset and enjoy the views.
The entire staff was amazing, the food was equally so.
We made reservations here from a referral of a close friend. Sunset window table was the request for our anniversary celebration. Well that did not work. We got a table in the back of the restaurant. We were both bummed. We had already ordered cocktails and had decided to leave. We told the waitress our intentions and she said "wait I will see what we can do." We were taken to an ocean side table just in time for an amazing sunset.

Nice place and delicious food, however the hostess was not the most attentive person and was resolving her problems with personnel for a while when we stood there waiting in front of her. Not cool. Then she seated us next to a huge birthday party at the farthest end of the restaurant when it was half empty. Why would you do that? At the end of the day we had to change the table and finally got a nice one on the terrace. The waiter was very nice and made excellent recommendations. The food thankfully made up for all the trouble, but I expected a better service from such a place.

This is my new favorite restaurant on Maui. When I saw the menu item called lobster and enchilada I was perplexed to say the least. This may have been the best meal of my life. The tail was presented beautifully on top of the enchilada. All the remaining meat was inside the enchilada. Anyone who is a fan of lobster must get this.
