We are so fortunate our taxi Drive Jason told us about this place otherwise we would have never heard of it. We (party of 2) arrived to on a Wednesday at 12:50pm had a 20 minute wait. The bartender helped us make great choices for our tastes. Our food was in front of us no longer than 10-15 minutes after we ordered. We were out the door by 1:50pm. Possible our favorite place so far in Maui and we have eaten 3 other places so far. Our bill was $64.00 plus a $12 tip.
Tight parking and look at a map before you come. Half hour wait for a table even at 2pm, but bar seating for lunch immediate. Very helpful bartender who also took food order and happily answered questions. Food served family style and pretty tasty. 3 appetizers enough for lunch for 2. Moderate price for expensive Maui.
EVERYTHING here is delicious!! Their wings are great. All of the noodle dishes are good choices. Everything is so flavorful. You won't be disappointed. Sake choices are very pricey but also very tasty.
Tempora Shrimp...AMAZING! Pork Buns...AMAZING! Singapore Noodles...AMAZING! Pad Thai...AMAZING!
Wish I remembered our server's name. She was friendly and had a good sense of humor - you have to to deal with us, so we had a great experience.
The mushrooms stole the show. The pad Thai was good but not Earth shattering. The scallop dish missed the mark. The sauce was too oily. The tempura prawns also missed the mark. Way too much batter, which was unfortunate as the prawns were jumbo and very high quality. The taro dumplings were fun, but could have been a little more 'something'. Bad: they didn't call or text while we waited, as promised. We waited the full hour and fifteen minutes they estimated only to find out the called us 45 minutes earlier and took us off the waiting list. The hostess insisted she called 5 times and texted, but when we showed the phone had no record she just insisted she had and was rude about it. Her manager was excellent and apologized, but the did nothing to make up for the error.
Out of the way, and totally worth it. Not on Front Street, rather up the hill in a business park. Find it! We ate everything family style, so we got to try about 7 things. All were good.
