Yummy food! I got the macnut pancakes and they were delicious! My husband got eggs and bacon, which was typical, but The Gazebo did it well! The line was so long and we didn't want to wait (about 9:30a on a Saturday), so we called it a to-go order from around the corner, then enjoyed the beach for about 15 minutes while waiting for our food. We picked it up and ate on the beach just outside the restaurant. The space is a little cramped, but quirky and cute - they had Halloween decorations when we went in October. Unfortunately, it wasn't enough to make us stand in line to sit there. We enjoyed our meal on the beach.
Get there early as this place is first come first serve. We were there a little after 8am and only had to wait about 25 min for a table for 2. But as we were leaving around 9:30am the line was about twice as long! Worth the wait, reasonably priced and a half serving of the rice breakfast is more than enough! Also the banana Mac pancakes with whipped cream and the coconut syrup were outstanding! A++
The gazebo is amazing and one of my favorite restaurants on Maui. Usually I get either the fried rice or the white chocolate pancakes, both amazing. The people are incredibly friendly and the long wait is well worth it. If I’m going to have to wait, this is the place to do it because of the breathtaking view and overall amazing resturant.
Decent breakfast, pretty standard prices, big portions. Although I'm not overly concerned about waiting 20-45 minutes in line just to get a table I wouldn't say it's worth the wait if you'd rather be off enjoying your vacation, although good it didn't blow my mind. Better than average but by no means a remarkable culinary experience. Service was fantastic and friendly and however long you wait in line outside is made up for the fact that food comes out of the kitchen faster than a McDonalds these days. Fried Rice plate is huge includes eggs mixed veggies and meat, pretty tasty. White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Pancakes were on point but in the end were pretty much just pancakes (coconut syrup gives it a nice touch). Eggs Benedict was reasonable but pretty standard. All in all worth it but don't expect your world to change. If the line is 20+ deep I'd suggest going elsewhere and try again another time.
Lovely location. Hearty food. Great portions. Better than the fancy hotels around the same area!
