Sharing two experiences dining at the Kaanapali Beach Hotel:
So delicious! Splurged for my birthday and drove from Kihei for this Sunday brunch and do happy we did! It's amazing! So much food, what a great deal! I ate like a queen! Everything from chocolate mousse pie to crab legs and a custom omelet! Wonderful birthday treat for me! Champagne and coffee yum!
We had lunch at “The Grill” - their snack hut by the pool. Our chicken nuggets were completely raw in the middle and our server was indifferent to the gravity of the situation (we had all bitten into a nugget).
Definitely would eat there again.

Great outdoor setting. Could see the sun setting and moon shining through the palm trees. Nice cool breeze blowing through. Not beach front like I thought.
I expected better for the price. The eggs were cold. The service and the view were the only good things.
We also tried their breakfast buffet - compared to other options in Maui I would say the selections were average and the quality was average, but the service was non existent. It took our server 3 times to finally bring the correct number of place settings and coffee cups for 5 people... after that we never saw him again until the bill came.
It's a very good place to get breakfast, lunch and dinner. Service was good as well. Not your 5 start restaurant but also not 5 star prices. It's worth the money in my opinion. We dined here multiple times during our 9 day stay at Ka'anapali Beach Hotel.
The music and hula show was very nice. Not a big show but was very entertaining and fun!
My suggestion: eat elsewhere.
